بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
I think in our life, we
all have someone we call friend. No matter how many friend we have, we always
need them. We need friends to help us make a decision or just share our feeling
and ideas, so their present make our life more colorful and easier. Sometimes the
situation is not always in good perspective, sometimes our friends disappoint
us with their act or behaviour. But with all the aspect that we find in our
relationship with them, it’s a learning process that make us have maturity. And
then the question is, how we find friends that can lead us to maturity and
become a good person in the future. There are two point that become bencmark for
us to find a good friend, a super friend.
We must realize that good
friends always bring us a positive energy. So when we try to find a friend we
must keep in our mind that friends in our life is people who can share their
positive behaviour to our life. And who they are? There are several people who
can we follow as good friends, one of them is people who love they God (red: Allah subhanallahuta’ala) and fight for
their faith. As mentioned in Al Quran :
وَمَن يُطِعِ ٱللَّهَ وَٱلرَّسُولَ فَأُوْلَـٰٓٮِٕكَ مَعَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَنۡعَمَ
ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡہِم مِّنَ ٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ وَٱلصِّدِّيقِينَ وَٱلشُّہَدَآءِ
وَٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَۚ وَحَسُنَ أُوْلَـٰٓٮِٕكَ رَفِيقً۬ا (٦٩)
“Those who obey Allah and the Messenger are with those whom Allah has
blessed, namely, the prophets, the Siddiqin, the Shuhada’ and the righteous. And excellent are they as
companions.” (Surah An Nisa : 69)
According to the verse in Quran we was
guided by a rule in the way we find “true friends” in our life, we must find righteous people, who love their God and
Rosulullah shalallahu’alayhi wa sallam
as the Messenger, Al Quran and As Sunnan become their guidlines in their life.
The
next step is we must pray to the God so that Allah can lead us to the people
who was blessed by Him. As we said every day in our prays, five times a day :
ٱهۡدِنَا ٱلصِّرَٲطَ ٱلۡمُسۡتَقِيمَ (٦) صِرَٲطَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَنۡعَمۡتَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ
غَيۡرِ ٱلۡمَغۡضُوبِ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وَلَا ٱلضَّآلِّينَ (٧)
“Take us on the straight path (6) The path of those on whom You have
bestowed Your Grace, Not of those who have incurred Your wrath, nor of those
who have gone astray. (7)”
(Surah Al Fatihah: 6 - 7)
As a muslim we have “super weapon” that can bring our hope
into reality, there is pray. Thats become necessity for us (Muslimin) to depend
our hope and ambition to Allah as our God (the one and only God, there is no
God but Him). With our pray we hang our hope to Him, trust to Him to fulfill His
promise, just by pray we can make sure that the result is the best result for
our life.
In
short, Guided by Al Quran and As Sunnah we find the typical of person who can
be “super friends” and just by the pray to Allah, we hope Allah can make us to
find and get closer to them. As a proverb said, “If you mingle with someone who sell a parfume, you will have good smell,
and if mingle with a blacksmith, you will have bad smells”.
