بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
I think in our life, we
all have someone we call friend. No matter how many friend we have, we always
need them. We need friends to help us make a decision or just share our feeling
and ideas, so their present make our life more colorful and easier. Sometimes the
situation is not always in good perspective, sometimes our friends disappoint
us with their act or behaviour. But with all the aspect that we find in our
relationship with them, it’s a learning process that make us have maturity. And
then the question is, how we find friends that can lead us to maturity and
become a good person in the future. There are two point that become bencmark for
us to find a good friend, a super friend.
بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
I have been 1 month in national hospital of Indonesia,
there is interesting phenomenon that make think about excistention of
pharmacist in community of medic in our country of Indonesia. How pitty, in
modern era which provide information globally and can be access easily, many
people of Indonesia does'nt aware and fully know about excistention of
pharmacist, they just only know two of several medical practioner in hospital
especially doctor and nurse.
Doctor, usually called "doc" by the other
people, they able to give medical action to threath pasien until the pasien get
their healthy. Doing their profession in hospital and other clinic, give a
prescription that contain medicines for their patiens, sometimes they give
explaination to the pasein how to take their medicines. When they give
diagnostic, in legal rule, doctor must send they diagnostic letter to
pharmacist to interpreted and the pharmacist decided what the best medicines
that pasien take. Doctor must give diagnose correctly, this is important to avoid
medical error. To prevent that doctor need other medical profession to double
check the efficacy of threatment. But, the reality in Indonesia, pharmacist
still looking their chance to be respected by the other medical profession,
Indonesian people still unfamiliar with pharmacist or apothecary, they just
know dokter and nurse, if you asking to them about apothecary, they will ask
you reversly, what is apothecary? How pitty, I don't know why this phenomena
still happen today.
Nurse, a medical professional that usually find in
hospital. Usually they called "Nurse or Sus (Indonesian call them)",
they work closely with doctor, and doctor usually ask for their help, because a
nurse have a skill and knowledge technically to take care pasien. They have
their own position in medical comunity. So far, two medical profession that I
mention above in sort, they have their own position, they work coorperatly.
بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
Patient trust become an important aspect in health care management. With professionalism, patient trust can be built easily, imagine if you are carried by doctor who doesn’t care about his or her appereance, not in sharply uniform or unkempt, do you believe that the doctor can take care of your health problems? On the other hand, if the doctor in sharply uniform, act like as a professional, I’m sure you will feel safe in his hand and improve your quality of your life. A trusting relationship is the very first principal in the Code of Ethics for Pharmacists.
Professionalism also aims to make a pharmacist to be respected. First of all, you must to behave in respectable manner, but this is much more than acting, you must have consistency to behave professionally until it become a good habits. Furthermore, people who behave professionally deliver high quality of healt care to they patients. If you want to be respected by other professional health care, there is no way except you have to behave professionally.
In professional community, physical appereance hold big influences to they client in effectiveness of communication and acceptances. As soon as you make great positive impression to your patients on the first sigh by your appereance, you just be a professional. Accordingly to popular phrase from Rosulullah shalallahu’alayhi wa sallam, “if someone who act like as a type of people, then he/she includes their type.” In other words, if you want to be a professional you have to act and dress like professionals do.

Illness is a condition that can’t be predicted when its comes and its can happens to anyone in everywhere. When somebody get cold, for example, at least they buy medicines near by their home for first aid. And if they condition is going worst, they will go to hospital to get proper threatment from clinician. After their conditions are much better, they have permitted to back home. But the real condition it’s not so simple, many people who have much money doesn’t get what they expect from medicines that they take. Even there are some of them frustated with their condition and dicide to end it by doing suicide. This phenomena shows to us that the price of health is can’t be measured by money, its only can be respected by say thanks to God for the healths and practice a good living habits.
